Excellent cottage, clean and everything we needed. Nice little extra’s like shower soap, shampoo and conditioner. Spices in the kitchen. Host had great communication.

A small one bedroom cabin that served it's purpose. Good views of the mountains and near the glacier viewing platform. Lake Matheson is a highlight.

Having spent the previous three days at the excellent Lake Views in Wanaka Misty Peaks seemed small and outdated. If you have a disability there could be access issues. The township of Fox Glacier itself doesn't have a lot to occupy you, although Lake Matheson is well worth a look. Probably better to stay in Franz Josef.

"It was a good place to stop for the nights, lovely views and comfortable."

Great location, comfortable, clean.

The lockbox was hard to open. The unit smelled quite strongly of artificial fragrance, which was quiet overpowering.

Cosy Comfortable Beautiful setting Had everything we needed Accepted our late booking due to unexpected road closure and we walked through the door 5 minutes later - thank you.
