The Deddington Arms

Location was good. That was about it I am afraid apart from good water pressure in bathroom

The place was neglected. It was obvious from the moment we entered the car par. Sad exterior of pub and run down windows etc. Back entrance very uninviting. Gruff welcome and sad neglected room. It really needs to be updated. Restaurant was large and empty, soul less and food really quite poor.

The breakfast was fantastic, excellent choice. Maybe a better choice if they did pastries.

The staff , could not had gone more . Very helpful and a pleasure to chat to.

It was in a great location for our stopover and the bar areas and restaurant areas were nice.

The rooms were very clean but tired. All windows needed replacing as were so blown you couldn’t see through them and window handle/lock was hanging off . Despite it being 30 degrees-we had to request a fan which was so full of dust and dirt that I had to fully clean it before we used it . The centre of the hash browns were icy cold and the mixed roast thr night before took an hour to arrive and only contained two small pieces of pork belly .

Comfy bed, delicious breakfast plus helpful and professional staff.

A very minor thing, and possibly due to the very warm weather. My room door was very hard to shut.

Room was ok, but when we arrived the bath/ bathroom needed cleaning, which I decided to do myself. Grout was black in places and overall didn’t look good.

Lovely little pub with dining room, overnight stays. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were even able to check in early and leave our bits before heading out for the day.
