Thank you to Yanick for his incredible warm welcome and patiently helping me with all my requests - I felt so well taken care of! The hotel looks absolutely gorgeous with the pool and the room design is beautiful! Most of all: the home cookes breakfast/lunch are insanely good!

Very lovely family owned house. Great food! They took care of everything, e.g organized a morning safari, which was great as well. Would love to come back here!

I stayed at this hotel for one night and everything was wonderful. The room was clean and beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures. The pool was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is a bit remote, but that makes it very peaceful and a great starting point for a safari. We received a very warm welcome, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The homemade food was amazing – you should definitely try as much of it as possible! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Amba Kola, a little oasis in the jungle! Janik and staff were always helpful and polite from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts and dinners we had were delicious and Janik always found time for a chat! He arranged an awesome safari for us and it was so nice that the park is only 10 minutes away. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool such a great bonus!

Tout ! Le personnel est au petit soin pour vous . Ils nous ont organisé un super safari dans le Parc d'Ubawalawe . La cuisine faite par la maman est excellente. Une très belle adresse authentique au pied du parc dans un beau jardin avec une très jolie piscine. A recommander pour tous les amoureux de la nature.

This was the best place we stayed during our trip! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and they made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this place and hope to come back again someday! ❤️

Fantastisch familiehotel! We hadden een ruime, schone en mooie kamer met eigen balkon en buitendouche. De familie is ontzettend vriendelijk en doet er alles aan om het verblijf bijzonder te maken. Het eten en de smoothies zijn heerlijk. Bij vertrek kregen we flesjes water en een bos bloemen mee – heel lief. Echt een aanrader!

This was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka! We felt comfortable and at home from the first moment we stepped in. Janek was such an attentive host and nothing was too much trouble for him. The whole team, including Rislan and Swarna, felt like our family away from home. Janek organised a fantastic safari for us (amazing, knowledgable and committed guide), visit to the elephant transit station, and affordable taxis, even making recommendations for our next stops. There were additional activities like a cooking class and Ayurvedic treatments you could book. The food was perfect, nice wine, all very affordable. The room was great, fitted with aircon and mosquito net, with sweet touches like the handmade soap and shampoo, and murals. The pool area was so relaxing and clean. Dont hesitate to book, we only stayed 2 nights but we wish we could have stayed longer!
