Amba Kola Udawalawa

The people who run this place are amazing. The meals were the best we had in Sri Lanka and breakfast was expeciaaly good. We got a room upgrade, they organized a safari tour and elephant feeding too. The pool was good for cooling off and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. There were 4 dogs and 2 cats here and they were all lovely and friendly. They stocked a decent white wine and cold beer. They even offered to do laundry for us. I received a bouquet of flowers when we were leaving and a cute letter. They arranged our driver for the next place we were going. We highly recommend this place!!

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage, ideal zum Entspannen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und der Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, und das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker.

Nichts zu beanstanden

Wir waren absolut begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft „Amba Kola Udawalawa“. Die Gastgeber haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und waren so herzlich! Sie haben uns außerdem auf Wunsch eine Safari für den Nationalpark arrangiert, bei der wir Elefanten, Krokodile und weitere Tiere bestaunen konnten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und hat eine schöne Außenanlage mit Pool. Und auch die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und wir hatten sogar eine eigene Outdoor-Dusche 😍 Duschen unter dem Sternenhimmel - das war traumhaft. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit. Lea und Til

Perfekt location for the safari which was amazing. 10min drive only to the safari gate. The owner said he has arranged the best driver and he did not disappoint. He was really taking his time to find the best spots as other drivers rushed past us. We saw many different animals which was surprising as we only thought to see elephants. Food was good at the hotel and the pool was very clean. Perfekt for our 2 day stop.

Nuostabus ir jaukus viešbutis! Labai rūpestingi ir šilti šeimininkai. Skanus maistas ir didelės porcijos. Labai įdomi maisto gaminimo pamoka, gaminame iš natūralių daržovių iš jų daržo. Didelis Ačiū šeimininkei už žinias ir patarimus! Taip pat buvome Safari ir tikrai likome sužavėti. Nuoširdžiai visiems rekomenduojame šitą viešbutį! Didelis ačiū už šią nuostabią patirtį!

Fantastisk lille paradis tæt på Nationalparken. Dejligt personale og skøn morgenmad.

The property is secluded yet easy to find and reach. Nice garden atmosphere with lot of plants. A big plus is the fairly new pool.

I had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Janik is a fantastic host, the facilities are very comfortable and spotless, and the staff truly go above and beyond to exceed every need. The food prepared by Janik’s mother is absolutely out of this world — a real highlight of the stay! I would say that this was my favourite place to stay during my Sri Lanka trip - highly recommended

Un moment hors du temps. Un établissement trés confortable avec des repas délicieux. Une famille vous accueille avec tant de gentillesse et de professionnalisme ;) ils ont tout organisé pour notre safari. Soins ayurvediques sur place que je testerai la prochaine fois ;))

Rien

Janik und seine Familie haben eine kleine Oase erschaffen. Die Unterkunft ist um ein wunderschönes Zimmer erweitert worden. Wir durften spontan zwei Nächte in diesem Luxuszimmer verbringen. Danke aber insbesondere auch seiner Mutter für diese Köstlichkeiten die uns jeden Morgen und am Abend serviert worden sind. Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen!
