Excellent Location, short walk to shops, pubs etc Friendly welcome from owner Paul Paul, a funny man & very knowledgeable. No need for a local tourist guide, just ask Paul.. Nothing too much trouble. Bedroom clean & bed so comfortable Bathroom clean & well maintained

The only dissappointment, was no TV

Paul the host was excellent company a thoroughly interesting and entertaining gentleman! With wide ranging interests in art, music and life!

We were immediately welcomed into Paul's home on arrival and served coffee and tea in his bright and colourful kitchen. We felt as if we were visiting friends rather than staying at a B&B and enjoyed our lively conversations. Our room was comfortable with a great bed and large ensuite. We were served continental breakfast with toast, pastries, cereal, juice, toast, coffee and tea each morning. Paul is very kind and has a wicked sense of humour. He wants you to enjoy Ludlow and gave us recommendations for restaurants and what to see in town. Everything is within easy walking distance including Ludlow Castle and St. Laurence's Church. The town itself is quite beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

breakfast was cereals toast and pastries. but sufficient, host was very friendly and obliging. place was conveniently located. an old house with lots of character.

no tv in room but a dvd player with access to about a million dvds and tv in the lounge area.

There's nothing not to like at the Green Dragon. This is Paul's home with one guest room not a pub. Paul is one of a kind but in an ace kind of way. He opens up his home and lets you feel more than welcome to use any of the rooms to relax. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Paul is great at responding with any queries prior to our arrival such as where to park. The clock chimes need syncing 😂🤣. Love having the fridge in the room especially when we had visited for the food festival. Nice continental breakfast even got us some special pastries for our 2nd morning. Visited the jup jup Thai restaurant during our visit and we highly recommend it. If you want to meet the locals visit the market tavern it's a proper local pub 🍻 Fish Friday at the bull ring tavern is a great deal and very nice. We have stayed in several different places in Ludlow over the years but would definitely return to the 'Green Dragon' even if it's just to annoy Paul 🤣😂

There's nothing not to like.

The property is very quirky, with crooked, creaky floors, very much in keeping with the age of the town. The host was similar, quite eccentric and very colourful.

There was no lock to secure our room when we left to go daytripping.
