Arena Premier Hotel

The room is big. The bed is super single so two persons can sleep in that. If you want extra bed, need to pay extra. Basic toiletries are provided. If you want brush, you have to request everytime. Overall ok for adults. Not ok for kids in the point of view of activities or food. Otherwise good for this price

Breakfast is not international. Limited and less varieties. No swimming pool or clubhouse there. When we ask for adapter for multiplug, they do not have. My husband got fever and when we ask for medicine also, it was not there. Luckily one shop was there that sells medicines so we managed.

Room is clean. Bed is very comfortable, with clean bedsheets.

Buffet breakfast spread has very limited food options. In addition, staff need to be more attentive eg. on my 2nd day, there is no more jam to go with the bread, and both the salted & unsalted butter have melted.

The air-conditioning worked well. The security guards at the front of hotel are friendly and helpful. Front of house staff and breakfast buffet staff were all friendly and helpful.

The rooms are too small. Our room did not look like the advertised room photo at all. We had a huge pillar taking up half the living space. There were no sliding doors leading to the balcony. We only had a small side door. The room was advertised as 41 sqm, but rooms are maybe only half that size. I suspect they are including the balcony in the square footage, which no other hotel anywhere does. The rooms are so small, it felt like I was sleeping in a cupboard. The beds were comfortable but are simply too small. There are not enough power sockets in the room. The room was dirty. Long lady's hair on the floor everywhere. Room had definitely not been vacuumed between guests. Bathroom is small, cramped and awkward. Shower water pressure was adequate, but the water is very slow to drain. Breakfast was a very small and basic selection, and what was on offer, was not really great. I did not feel we got value for money at 360 ringgit per night.

The room is reasonably clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable.

Houseflies at check in counter and cafe are rather off putting. Carpet in common area is stained and dirty, looks like never been vacuumed during our 4 nights stay.
