"Staff very pleasant and helpful."

Room was clean, comfortable and extra touches such as complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There was bottled water in the room as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We had dinner which was delicious and staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was also very nice, the pancakes were delicious. Overall we were very happy that we chose The Carpenters Arms and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Parking a little tricky when busy.

Very nice place, well located, peaceful, friendly and polite staff, extremely good value especially with breakfast included, big garden and patio, nice food and drink, all in all very good indeed.

"Very pleasant! Comfortable Rooms ."

Very convenient for visiting Highclere Castle . Staff very friendly. Nice rooms clean and comfortable. Tea&coffee making facilities. Plus 2 small bottles of water which were just right when we arrived it was a very hot day . If you’re visiting Highclere castle this is definitely good value for money! Breakfast was included and also had gluten free bread .

The pub,food and staff were very good

The rooms are very very tired and in need of urgent upadating, also need soundproofing as other guests were very noisy.
