Excellent location, great breakfast and staff are amazing!

Bathroom/shower had some mould in the corner and it was a lot smaller than anticipated.

It's a charming little pub in the countryside outside of Newbury but just a short drive into the town centre. The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The view from the rear garden is very green and relaxing. Our room was in the eaves and although pleasant was very hot, even though we had a fan. Everything was clean.

Because of the proximity, of the charming multi-roomed cottage accommodation to the road, it could be a little noisy, however, it was separate from the pub so at least we didn't get any noise from there.

Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Das Frühstück a la carte war vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angemessen. Es könnten ein paar mehr Alternativen ohne Ei dabei sein. Das Abendessen war sehr gut.

Die Ausstattung im Zimmer ist schon etwas älter, z.B. Teppich

The pub/hotel was in a good location for us and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We were moved from the room we thought we had booked (a twin room, made up as a super-king bed) to an ordinary double room. The person who checked us in said it was something to do with it being a Booking.com booking.
