Alexander's Landing

Clean with comfortable beds.

We stayed in until 3 upstairs. No elevators, so be mindful if you travel with anyone who has trouble going up and down stairs. Very simple accommodation, but clean. No lighting in living room, which makes it not very inviting, and no closets at all. There is no place to hang clothing. A small dresser is in each room. We stayed for Purdue graduation as all the hotels in Lafayette were booked. This is a 45 min drive. The accommodation is more suited for families going to the amusement park, rather than traveling for a ‘dressy’ event. The beds were comfortable albeit pushed against the wall on one side (due to small size of bedroom) so that one person would need to climb over the other to get out of bed. Overall, it served the purpose, but we likely won’t be staying again if we can get a hotel closer to Lafayette or in town.

Cute room and location

The stains on the bedding sheets, pillows and towels. Controls in the room were extremely dirty.

The apartment was cute.

The ripped up screen door preventing us from opening it for airflow. The dirty wash cloth hanging on the crack of the bathroom door & razor left in the shower from the previous guest. The mattress in the room with only one bed was horrid! **THERE WAS NO A/C! All units are hooked to the same air and air wasn’t available yet. It was so humid and we had 5 people trying to get ready. Additionally, the window screens were filthy.

We were upgraded to a beautiful condo facing the lake!

Everything was clean

Our bed was horrible

I liked that fact that it was next to Indiana Beach. I also liked that it had a pool, dock, patios to hang out, and kayaks, paddle boards and boats.

Just the hornets and spiders, but I’m sure there everywhere along the river .
