Howling Wolf Resort

We love camp so this glam camping fits pur style. The campsite was beautiful!! We like that each tent has a wooden figurine of an animal.

1) Our tent did not have the roof top cover so it was very cold at night. Although they provided the gas heater, we decided not to turn it on for safety concern. 2) missing the roof top cover, the room was very bright at night due to long daylight 3) our tent was closed to the construction site so it was so noisy. We were surprised that construction was in operation all night long. We believe that tents near the construction site should not be rented out as this is not far to guests. We chose glamping because we love mother nature and its quietness. This was not what we got.

The property was clean and in close proximity to Seward.

Many of the buildings were collapsed, likely from winter snow loads. This didn’t give us confidence in the safety of the “cottage”. Additionally, the door blew open while we were away, leaving all of our belongings completely unsecured. There were no sinks for washing hands, faces, or brushing teeth, the property is backed up to a gravel pit that begins operations at 7am, including Sunday, we were not able to use the hot tub because it was an inflatable Costco purchase that was not able to get up to temp at 45° May temperatures, and the “office” offered for bathroom facilities was under construction and not available. Finally, we were asked to bring our own water because potable water isn’t available onsite. I imagine this last detail would be challenging for out of state visitors. The camping fees are comparable to other local RV spots, but do not offer the same amenities.

Lovely glamping site 5 mins drive from Seward. Very well equipped modern tents with proper bed. Great outdoors jacuzzi. 4 shared toilets and 4 showers were modern and clean. Clear check in instructions.

Not an issue as well advised pre check in. But bring bottled water for drinking and tooth brushing.

The camp was very clean and the cabin clean and comfortable.

There needs to be at least a common sink area at the bathroom/shower area for washing hands, brushing teeth, getting water to make coffee in your own cabin.

Bed was comfortable.
