Howling Wolf Resort

The views were AMAZING. The tent were nice and spacious for the two of us. The outside amenities were clean when we used them. The staff was helpfull and responsive.

Tents were not isolated properly, had to put the heater on maximum to keep it slightly warm. We could hear the people outside easily. The showers had mold all inside them, they should rebuild them with proper material.

Tent conditions, friendly personnel

The setting is in an area surrounded by snow capped mountains. Overall this was fun "glamping." The tents were comfortable and airy.

This place was hard to find. It's off the main road leading into town but had no sign. We found it by following the Howling Wolf Coffee shop sign. The biggest drawback is that it has no running water aside from the bathrooms and showers. The rooms have none. We would have brought our own if we had known this. I went to a local grocery store and bought some.

The host is great. The facilities were nice.

The tree stumps in the parkign lot are not good. If you have a 4x4 you should be careful since it is hard to see them.

I liked this house/tent which was fully equipped with everything. The beds were very comfortable! We had beautiful views wherever we'd look and were still close to the road. Everything was tidy, even though toilets and showers are shared. The three of us were amazed by this resort and our stay here and if we ever go back to Seward, we'll stay there again!

Please put some bear sprays in the tents for the feeling of safety at night because it's not that comfortable walking to the toilets/showers when it's dark.

What Breakfast ?

A small fridge in the large Yurt would.be nice.
