The place was very clean and comfortable. It felt safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax. The host was kind and helpful, and we appreciated how everything was well prepared for our arrival.

The exterior of the property and the common areas are undergoing major renovations so during the day there’s quite a bit of noise happening. There is scaffolding on the exterior of the building. The interior of the property is spotless. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There is a shared dining & kitchen area and a self service breakfast is provided by the host. This consists of hams, salami, cheeses, croissants, cereal, toast etc. There is also a coffee machine, kettle and coffee & tea available. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, fridge and all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery you would require. The facility is surprisingly spotless for a shared residence. The bathroom is also very clean and appears to have been recently renovated. I did wonder however how a larger person may find using the shower and toilet as it’s a pretty tight squeeze. The host Francesca is lovely and was very prompt in attending to an issue we had with the bathroom. The facility is also reasonably priced.

I did not care for the location. The area is a 10-15 minute bus trip from Catania Centrale. The streets are quite dirty and there is lots of refuse littering the streets. As long as you’re planning to be out and away from the area it’s ok I guess. Not the most pleasant surroundings.

Nothing, we did not stay 10 mins. property is located in a very traffic busy noisy corner.

Francesca is good host and responds very prompt. Nice fited kitchen. Not far away to city centre but the area is totally unfriendly for tourists.

Area is horrible, unclean, unsafe and terrible noisy - Avoid the New year celebration in this city. Very unfriendly smell from the bathroom, avoid apartment 5. N all rooms have windows. Bathroom and shower cabin is to small for big people. Washing machine for the use of the guests will e very helpful and also renewing the beds will improve the confort of sleeping. Poor value for money - 62 euro /room/night was not less money

On the inside, it's high class. The dining area is modest.

The location is noisy. Lots of traffic. Small industries. The side streets are nicer. Families are sitting outside in the evening to escape the heat and socialize.
