Nice modernized room, friendly staff who weren't fluent in english but did their best to understand and accommodate us nonetheless, refrigerator inside the room including free bottled water, shared kitchen and breakfast area with yogurt, coffee, cereals, cookies and biscuits. large and comfortable bed. very clean.

Bathroom window opens directly into the shared hallway. The neighborhood where the accommodation is located is not very inviting for tourists.

The room and shared kitchen facility were very modern and clean.

The location of the property is in a very built up area which was quite busy and noisy and not particularly clean. However within a 30 minute walk radius you can get to the lovely centre of Catania plus the beach

Our room and adjoining shared kitchen was immaculate! Very new and modern. The self serve breakfast was excellent. Proximity to both the old town and beach was great. Francesca the host did everything despite no English, to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The three flights of stairs. My husband’s heart sank as he has had health issues but because the Golden House top floor was so wonderful, we made it work! So try not to be put off by the dilapidated entry and interior. It’s worth the climb. Public parking outside was not easy but once again greatly assisted by our host.

The host Franceska is great and available for any help. The room was small, but cute and perfectly clean, at the level of hotels of higher categories and better! The location is excellent - walking distance from the city center and the first beach.

Owner and staff were very nice and accommodating. Room was also very nice and location was good.
