Church Street House

The situation was perfect. Close to town, the bus station and Canterbury East railway station. WiFi and shared bathroom were fine.

The room was a bit cramped and a couple in the adjacent room arguing disturbed our sleep due to the thin walls.

Very clean and tidy. Great location.

I only stayed one evening, a Saturday night, meeting friends in Margate and then travelling to Canterbury. The bed and linen was very comfortable. I slept very well. The kitchen and bathroom were a good size for a flat. The bathroom had a bath and shower.

At night, when I was picking up the keys from lockboxes, the numbers - like padlock code numbers- were a bit difficult to see. But given where the lock boxes are, there isn't much that can be done about that. I'd have liked knowledge in advance whether someone else was using a room in the flat, just so you know whether to deadlock the door or not.

Betten unbequem bzw. Matratze abgenutzt, Zimmer zur Straße im EG ohne hellen Vorhang oder Sichtschutz, nur Abdunkelung möglich, Fenster nicht zu öffnen, Badausstattung schlecht, Abfluss verstopft, sehr hellhörig

Room was somewhat clean. The stairs for me was really dangerous as the banister only went length up. Once you got to the top it was like you had to crawl up the stairs.
