Harbour Guest House

Fantastic location in the heart of Tobermory, only a few steps away from the distillery. Parking opposite the road at no cost. We had the family room on the ground floor. Lots of space. The best welcome box we ever got: local butter cookies, local soap and even a tiny bottle of Tobermory whiskey! Clean and comfortable room. Windows to the street were not a problem (good blinds). Although directly facing the street, noise was not a problem. Breakfast takes place at the Tobermory Hotel which is just 50m further up the street. As seats are limited there, we were directed to eat at the Gallery cafe which is located another 20m further up the street in a former church - cool location! Breakfast was good there (note: The breakfast voucher was limited to only one coffee per person). If you want to dine at the Tobermory Hotel, you should reserve a table well ahead.

Staff was exceptional! Very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was quite delicious!

Needs a shot of WD-40 in the front door lock!

The staff were exceptional - special thanks to Heather who dried some sodden clothes for me - and the breakfast and use of the snug at the hotel were highlights of my stay.

The room without a window was quite noisy when people went up and down the stairs. I also struggled with having to go downstairs for the bathroom - which is off the front foyer - in the middle of the night.
