We had a lovely 2 night stay, we were really happy with the facilities the breakfast room was lovely such a fabulous choice for food and drinks. Any questions I had was answered promptly by Julia! Thank you 😊

Everything was just perfect. We had a twin room and a quadruple room, both were well equipped, clean and comfortable.

I wasn't going to leave a bad review. However, we stayed on the 4th - 6th April and after 4 weeks we were promised a full refund and have had a message 3 times saying the money will be refunded by the end of the day, yet no money has been refunded! We waited 4 hours to enter the property the night we arrived due to it being unmanned, and the lock key box wasn't working. With 2 young children and it being cold, this was an awful experience. We eventually got into the guesthouse to find there was no heating, the t.v wasn't working due to no signal and there was no Internet (which is all advertised on the booking) we had no soap in the bathroom, nor did we have tea bags or milk If a full refund had been issued, I wouldn't have written this review as the owner seemed like a decent guy. However, I am beyond annoyed. Every time you ring, we get told,'He is currently driving and we will get a phone call back' but never receive a phone call back.

To start with the positives. Easy access - good communication - Clean bedding & Towels Unfortunately Broken shower unable to use too hot and no way to change temperature. Dreadfully noisy bed with awful mattress. Pigeons roosting in the roof for a 4.30am morning call continuing until 8am. Out of date disgusting butter in communal breakfast room. No water in jugs at breakfast to fill kettle- had to go back to 4th floor to fill from bathroom sink! What could potentially be a great business property needs the simple basics looking at and some new beds in room 7

The bed was uncomfortable The net curtain in shower room gave no privacy Shower fell off wall onto my head. No staff to help with issues. No WiFi even though it stated there was Shower far to hot couldn't turn it down

It was good!! Only downside was we had to buy our own toilet roll
