The location was great for the tower.

While I know this was a budget guest house, the bed was clean, however the shower had thick black mould in, the shower gel etc were empty, no toilet roll, the curtains were not the same length! No hand wash. There are lots of cables running down walls. For breakfast no yogurts, butter and nothing gluten free.

Location was good and the room size was fine and also it was quiet.

We had no soap, nor toilet roll in our room. In the shower there were three dispensers - shampoo, condition and shower gel, which were all empty. Though some miniature bottles had been left by the sink. Breakfast wasn’t great, there was no butter so couldn’t have any toast, only Nutella and I don’t eat nuts. The urn which said “extremely hot” was full of cold water, though there was a kettle available. Appreciate for the price we paid it would be basic, but the basics were missing.

Continental breakfast selection and breakfast room was nice.

- Half a toilet roll provided with no spare - TV wouldn’t turn on - No working WiFi despite the ‘free WiFi’ signs and posters/leaflets - No hot water or heating on in the morning -Holes in the wall within the room -No blackout curtains/blinds which allowed light from the street lamp right outside the window to come through all night. -Shower was faulty and falling off the wall.

Room was very clean and tidy.

shower had all black mould around the tray, I didnt dare use it, corridor was dark and I struggled to see the key codes, there were two other sets of guests there that had not received any codes and there was no one there or any contact numbers for the place. Very poor breakfast of toast, small boxes of cereal or some bagged croisants, luckily there is a spoons around the corner. The breakfast was just in a room near front door, there was no staff at all and you had to sort yourself out.

It was close to where we were going.

There were no staff, the walls were so thin we could hear the people next door fart! It did not say continental breakfast when we booked. The coffee was stone cold, the pastries tasted like plastic and the heating was on fill all night
