Great position and great interaction with hosts

The property was advertised for 5 adult guests, including a sofa-bed (for 2 people), which is fine. The problem is that the sofa bed is very small and can fit at best 2 children and one of the other beds was also too small to fit 2 people comfortably. In addition the room where the sofa bed is located has no curtains and the sun shines from three sides there... As a result I think 2, maximum 3 people ( provided the 3rd person has no issue with waking up at 6am) can fit in the property.

The house is perfeclty located, close to the city center and set in a charming neighbourhood full of restaurants and supermarkets. It´s nice and comfortable. The kitchen and living room are spacious, and the en-suite bedrooms are quite convenient. The beds are comfortable, and everything feels conveniently arranged. Overall, it's great value for the typical prices in the area.

I would suggest a couple of small improvements: adding a small table or shelf in the bedrooms would be helpful, as there´s limited surface space for personal items. Tthe kitchen could also use a few extra tools, such as a strainer for pasta. Finally, there is some background noise in the living room coming from outside the house, which might be slightly annoying for someone sleeping on the sofa bed.

Good location for the train station and centre of Cambridge. Nice that both bedrooms have a small bathroom each. Open plan kitchen area and living space is light and airy although Velux windows need a good clean! It wasn’t particularly easy to find the apartment at first. The number for the property is up high on a wall not at eye level and the number that once was on the external fuse box has come off. The host pointing out where the apartment was beforehand would have been useful. The apartment could do with some TLC. The carpet on the stairs is worn and there are scuff marks on the walls. Also no lamps in bedrooms so lighting is bright which isn’t appreciated late at night. The communication from the hosts could have been better. In comparison to other experiences I’ve had, I seemed to have to wait quite a while to hear back from this host when I had questions.

New and fresh. Clean modern bathrooms. Central location. Beer in fridge was a nice touch

Very small. No bedside table, lamps or pictures, so it looked quite bare with harsh lighting
