"Bad"

1.0

Our tent was covered in holes. The floors were covered in a thick layer of mud. I asked to cancel the trip as soon as we got there and they said no. We tried to stay one night but as soon as it got dark large black spiders came in our tent. We left and slept in our car. I sent pictures to the staff who denied everything and said they clean the floors between each guest.

Out in the woods, felt secluded. Great communication with hosts.

The bathrooms ended up being a bit of a jaunt. Facilities were great though and it’s definitely not a deal breaker. Also the markers for the tent numbers were a little hard to see at night.

"Awful, would not recommend"

1.0

Location was good but that’s it

I had a terrible experience at Wander Camp Olympic. The tent we were given was covered in mold, had a strong mildew smell, and the bed was damp—completely unsafe conditions for anyone, especially for those with allergies like my partner. Despite informing the staff immediately, we were offered no viable solutions, and there were no other tents available to move to. The customer service was extremely disappointing. After reporting the issues, I was promised a call to discuss the situation, but it never happened. When I followed up, I kept getting passed around without any real resolution. It felt like I was getting the runaround instead of the help I needed. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get a refund when the accommodations are clearly uninhabitable. I’m still waiting for this to be resolved, and based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

"Wrong address indicated on Booking!"

1.0

The bed is comfy. No complaints for a place to stay overnight at this price.

It’s crazy nobody mentions this! The address given by booking is wrong!!!! Don’t go to this 161 Farrington Rd. A very kind family lives here now, the campsite was moved three years ago to this new location : 48°04'22.8"N 123°39'53.6"W. This poor family has been bothered by campers like us following booking’s address for many years! So either call the company or test them to verify the address before going. We had such a struggle finding the hidden entrance at night, so scared, so don’t let this happen to you too!

"Decent for the price, but prepare for the location."

5.0

The price was reasonable and the furniture provided in the yurt was convenient. The location is not too hard to find during the day. Finding it at night seems fairly difficult considering multiple people were struggling to find the location as we were settling in, later in the evening.

The random jeepers creepers truck after you pull into the unmarked dirt route gave us an eerie vibe. The yurt had an odor that was fairly strong, it was possibly the smell from the mold or a cleaning supply used. My boyfriend woke up with a headache and sore throat due to the strong odor. It is extremely muddy too, that was not an issue for us but just be aware, you will trail mud into the yurt. Lots of bugs as well, it’s hard to keep them out of the yurt. And BRING LIGHTS!!!. There’s no lanterns or any type of lights provided that work. ALSO, bring a blanket or some type of rug to lay down that you can walk on, the floor inside the yurt will get dirty fast considering the mud you trial in. Ultimately, at the end of the day, the space is used for what you can make with it.

"A lush forest getaway for a reasonable price!"

9.0

Beautiful lush forests surrounding the camp site with lots of tents on site. Very clean bathrooms and no trash around! Bonus that there’s some parking on site as well. Easy to get to with clear instructions from owners on finding the location and the tents are a very good size.

The only complaint I have is that there’s a strong mildew smell and visible spots in the fabric of the tent. To be fair, it is located in a rain forest and I’m not sure how you would keep up with that! Just be mindful if you have allergies.
