Wander Camp Olympic

The bedding was amazing - so comfy that I asked for the info on the bedding for my home! It poured rain when we were sleeping and the inside stayed completely dry.

Little muddy just because they were cutting new paths and it poured all night. It work out great because the forest was bright green in the morning with all the rain.

The beds were clean and comfortable. They were soft and warm. We liked being in the woods.

The trash cans were not covered. That felt like a stupid choice. There were wild animals since it was in the forest. Our site (#18) was terrible. Many others were magically hidden down winding paths. Ours was like it had just been bulldozed out of a niche of virgin rain forest as an afterthought right on the road. Our solar lights had not charged, so it was extremely dark. The inside of the tents were not like the photos at all. Not cute or charming. They need platforms, better lights, to match the decor to the photos. Also, they need some signage inside the camp to let people know what's what--"Hey, you are here! This is Wander Camp!" "We only have 4 toilets! Please use them quickly!" It felt like it was a poor value for the money.

This site is extrememly new and very raw. The tents were great and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom facilities were in a pulled-in trailer. Fine for toilets, but the showers were only cold. More signs to mark which parking goes with which tent would be helpful.

Bathroom facilities and the huge pile of trash behind it - worried me about attracting bears or coyotes.

Bathrooms had no toilet paper. Mirrors were set for people over 6’ tall. Tents were on uneven ground. Parking was no close to the tent and space was tight.

The woods

The 2 wandering scary and threatening dogs, the king bed was not a king size bed but 2 twins not leveled with a step from one to the other. Terrible sleep and experience with my girlfriend because of that. Apologies from the property and I asked for a refund of the 2nd night since we left after the first night, as this was so uncomfortable and we couldn’t even sleep in each other’s arms with my gf or I couldn’t even spoon her. We’ve had to sleep at 90 degrees on the unevenly leveled beds. Plus toilets trailer was on the other side of the property with a long walk to get there instead of being in the middle of the tents area. Property didn’t charge me after my complaint so I didn’t leave this review and thought they had approved my request for a refund, but now I see that they have been waiting for me to forget about it and charged me the 2 nights, Full price!!! So, no way!!

Great location which was easy to find with the given instructions. The tents with double bed have enough room and are furnished with a small table and two chairs. The bed was super comfortable! Loved the matress. We really appreciated that the tents are not right next to each other, but surrounded by trees. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The mobile sanitary area was not great (small and a bit smelly), but given that they just started out there is hope for a more permanent solution.

Nice hidden location with a good distance between tents. Surprisingly clean showers/restrooms.

Nothing

Everything. THe road was hard to see, it was rough and narrow. Parking was terrible. I didn't feel comfortable parking near the tent so had to park down the road. No place to get water except for the bathrooms and they weren't easy to get too. The steps to the bathroom were dangerous. The chairs were unstable as well as ne of the beds. Just an awful experience
