"The location in the forest was amazing. Beds were awesome and warm. Tent was large. Very damp area."

8.0

The location in a mossy, old growth forest was amazing. The beds were comfy and warm.

Since it is a damp area, more rock is needed on the road and parking areas by each tent. A mat inside the door of the tent would also keep the dirt and debris by the door. Please put SOMETHING noticeable at the road entrance. (put an orange cone or nail a a white board to a tree, anything!) The GPS pin often is not up to date as you drive in this area. We still drove by it 3 times. Or note that it is around Mile 235. Possibly add picnic table to each site, so you have somewhere to sit, do food prep etc. We only had 2 chairs inside our 3 twin bed tent. The table in the tent was very small and not stable enough for much.

"We loved our stay, but we were prepared and know how to camp. :)"

7.0

We were assigned tent 18 and it was the best spot! If I was going to stay again, I would request this one. We had plenty of room in front of the tent, to sit outside. The beds were very comfortable, and the tent was nice, although it rained Friday night, and we had a small puddle of water in the tent. The bathrooms were clean with water on Friday, then ran out Saturday, but there was someone later who brought more water. We thanked him. It was nice to have other campers nearby.

Based on the reviews, I packed for solar outdoor lighting and propane heat, knowing that the camp tents don't really look like that and you'd have to bring extra stuff to make it awesome. I felt bad for new campers who arrived on Saturday. One tent with 3 people were very unhappy because our tent was in a more open space, with our solar lighting and propane heat. When they got to theirs (tent 19?), it was so hidden in trees and low, they complained and didn't stay. They clearly weren't prepared and seemed envious of our camp site, probably thinking all the tents had outdoor lighting. It's a cheap investment for Wander camp, so I would get some. I got mine on Amazon. They stayed on all night and once they are charged by the sunlight, face the solar panel to the ground and for some reason, its energized more. Super weird but was a nice surprise. I'm sure people would really appreciate it and love it. Then at tent 17, the same thing happened to a mom and her daughter, so we helped them and loaned them an extra string on solar lights. But the walk down to the tent was steep, so please ask the grounds keeper to look at that tent entrance and perhaps add some wood/gravel "stairs" in the ground to make it easier, especially if it rains. It turns to mud. The mom said she thought the lighting was there too and was not happy the string of lighting was not part of the tent. It makes it easy to see too, because it is super dark. It would be worth it to buy for those who get duped by the photos on the webpage. Perhaps you can add a side note for campers to bring their own stuff. By the way, the solar lighting lamps that were provided didn't work.

It’s well hidden area and provides privacy from other tents.

Difficult to find the entrance after sunset. Tents cover smaller area than expected.

basic idea was good. needs refinement by putting gravel on roads.

roads around site were muddy. impossible to walk around site, or to restrooms, without tracking mud everywhere

"Olympic Adventure"

7.0

Our tent was set back in the woods. Everything is spaced out and felt private. The beds were comfy and there was enough blankets. Having chairs inside was an unexpected bonus.

Parking was a bit of a struggle. It’s a difficult to find, there’s no outdoor lighting other than solar lights. It’s deep in the woods so the solar lights don’t get a good charge. The bathrooms were very dirty and the lights went out when you turned the water on.

"In short.. Don’t. Save your time, save your money. I said eh, how bad could it be. Just go elsewhe"

1.0

We liked the location of the campsite. Good luck finding the campsite. As there not listed on google maps, there’s multiple addresses on line. No sign marking the site. But once you find it yea it’s good location.

What didn’t we like, well. I wrote what we did like in the location the rest is just bad. I read the recent reviews and said ehh it’s one night. But it was a mistake. The worst stay from customer experience to gross dark rv toilets. To the mound of trash behind the toilets. The place was horrible. Horrible stay, horrible across the board. Go elsewhere, you’ll thank me later.
