Lancelynk Retreat Hoi An

I liked the area, there are many rice fields behind and around the property, good for walks and for running. The area is quiet and has only a few restaurants (locals). The bike ride to town is relaxed too, not much traffic and you drive into a quieter part of town with a few leather and clothing shops, before you get to the hyper touristy part, which is nice. Breakfast was cheap too at the hotel. Staff would clean rooms daily, if you wanted to. The view from the rooms is great, into the jungle, huge palm trees, or into the night sky where you see the moon.

The keycard from the room key is for the electricity, so the fridge turns off, when you leave the room. Not so good, if you use it for things that need to stay cool. The hotel has a very tiny entrance area - you walk into reception, which is also the breakfast area, and one table for breakfast next to the pool. When you come down the stairs from the room, you walk straight into the reception desk and the breakfast area, which, if you want to use the pool and come down in bikini, is uncomfortable. Also weird to use the pool, while some people have their breakfast there. The rooms are a bit old and could get a new layer of paint (and different colors, the grey everywhere is a bit doomy). It fells the place is kinda old and the energy stagnant. Also - with the reception being the constant point to pass through, given the tiny space, as there is no other entrance to the rooms, pool or breakfast area - I found it stressful that some of the staff where a bit too eager to greet me every time I come in and out and make commentaries of what I wear and what I bought and where I would go next. Quite intrusive. It's non of their business where I go next, nor what I buy, nor what I wear. Lack of privacy here. Also, I rented a motorbike and it was empty when I got it. Initially I wanted to keep it just a day, as grab drivers are cheaper, but since I filled the tank again, I used it longer and left it with even more petrol, than it initially had. If I use a bike for a day, I shouldn't be require to go to the gas station to recharge for 5K (0,60€), cuz you rarely even use 2K of petrol per day. Helmets were smelly, because of the rain and the not fast drying.

Airco leaking, bath tub instead of shower with no shower head that can be turned to wash hair without holding it. We had issues with having hot water everyday. Breakfast very limited and even than not everything available. Quite far from the centrum (+- 4.5 km). Bikes are old and are even by the staff not recommended to be used because of their condition.

The staff were lovely! We were able to rent a scooter. The bathroom was very clean and the room was spacious

It was quite difficult to find at first, and a little out of Hoi A Town. The pool area wasn’t like anything in the photos

We loved our stay here - not in the busy centre but still close enough to get to everywhere by scooter. The staff was amazing and so helpful - helping us book our busses. The room was big and comfortable and it had a nice pool.

The aircon wasn’t the greatest & the shower in the bath.

Clean room, very helpfull staff and great location. The pool is nice, very clean and perfect to cool down after a warm day! Renting a scooter was easy and affordable, the accomodation has multiple scooters. It only takes 10minutes to get to the Old Town of Hoi An, a vibrant place to hang out in the evening!

The staff, the room was lovely, pool at property and location was great and made it easy to get around with having motorbikes available at hotel for rent. The massage ladies at the hotel are incredible and it had to be the best massage we have had yet
