Good room however no fan or air conditioning which made it incredibly uncontrollable to sleep

Location and view were beautiful, tesco 5 min walk and spar at the end of the road

The mattress had springs sticking into my back all night long, it wasnt just the odd spring. The mattress was completely done. When i booked , i also explained that myself and daughter would need our own bed. Although this wasn't possible, i understood and accepted the fact that we would have to share a bed, however it was almost impossible to sleep with the state of the mattress, the room was roasting due to no air con or fan. I contacted the staff on arrival through booking.com and asked if it would be possible please for anyone to contact me to help if possible and no response. I left a voice mail and no response. I then rang the second day and and spoke to johnathan and explained i didn't mean to be annoying, I understand a fan might not be possible but if he could please maybe change us rooms to a bed that wasn't all springs. He explained they were fully booked, but he would get back to me about a mattress that day either threw booking.com or my mobile number, He didn't at all get back to me and left it as it was, and the second night, I spent in one corner of the bed trying to get any sort of sleep. The mattress was completely done in, and i didn't sleep a wink. I was upset. That's how it was dealt with, and I wouldn't stay again due to these reasons

Like the location. The views were amazing..

Clean and modern

No communication from the staff. I walked out on the 1st night at 11.55 pm and wrote a msg through booking.com at 1am and phoned them at 9.45am (end of night 1) they wrote me back at 12 on day 2 saying if I had of contacted them earlier they could have made other arrangements. The bed was a cheap matteress with no support, I tried to sleep on the floor but it wouldnt work. The room was so hot and had no air con when the window was open there was constant traffic outside from the main road. They said they could not refund me despite me telling them my issues at 1am on the 1st night.
