Mountain View Lodge

I has a back room with shared bathroom. Perfect. Very clean, slept like a baby and woke up at sun rise - star gazers paradise. Kitchen was fully functional - great set up for communal living. Please do your bit and clean up - it is Afterall communal. Met some great people there and had a laugh - not keen on the woman who thought I was the maid and demanded I find her an ashtray!! Takes allsorts

I would suggest more plastic cups, plates. Elegant picnic stuff . Door are noisy and slam hard - just meant creeping around gently so as not to wake other guests

Mattress was shocking bad Smell of cigarettes in the room was horrible Very warm and uncomfortable

The location was fabulous. Great views and comfortable rooms. Went with my partner and would definitely recommend. Will certainly go back soon and not to mention great value for money. 10/10 . David and Joanne . ROOM 5

Decent sized room and bathroom. View of mountains. Plenty of parking space. Full shared kitchen - very well equipped with tea coffee etc provided.

On a busy main road. Although it’s double glazed, the weather was warm so it was a choice of noise or coolness. You MUST pay a £75 security deposit before you get the code for the key box and provide a photo of your id. There’s no reception so all done by phone/text/message. And the plastic mattress cover made the bed uncomfortable. Long walk into town along said busy road.

The location & the price were brilliant. Just down the road from RCD with a great view of Slieve Donard.

Some guests were had loud music on at night, but I was exhausted so slept through it anyway.

Very comfortable bed, very clean room. Great shared facilities. Easy check in

The walls were a little thin. You could always hear other doors slamming
