People in room 5 next to our room were very noisy @ 6.30am in the morning!! Banging doors, coming in & out room continuously & disrupting our sleep!!

My second trip to Mountain View lodge. The price is excellent and the room was beautiful. I would recommend it to my friends and I would definitely book there again. Location is great and the town is just a mile down the road. Thank you.

How close it was to the town.

The bathroom ceiling was full of mould and also mould in the shower. Curtains were failing off the rail did not meet in the middle facing onto a main road.

Nice comfortable room and bed. It was nice having the kitchen available to us to prepare our breakfast. You need to pay a £75 refundable deposit in case of any damage. Double glazing reduces any noise from the main road. The Burrendale hotel and spa is a lovely option for evening dinner and entertainment. The staff at the visitor centre in Newcastle are very helpful with local walks in the Mourne Mountains and the drive to Warrenpoint along the coast is beautiful.

The extractor fan in the bathroom is quite noisy and comes on when the bathroom door is opened.
