Hakuba Alpine Hotel

Close to Happo one station. The hotel is authentic and spacious. The breakfast was a real treat, very fill and delicious.

Great location, the room was a good size with good views and very clean. The owners were lovely, run a great hotel and the breakfast each morning was realy nice! The onsen was an awesome way to end a day at the snow and we managed to have it to ourselves most days.

We were in the quadruple tatami style room and the mattresses were thin and uncomfortable.

The place is amazing and the location is very convenient, nearby to bus station and nearby to the ski lift. Mr Katsumi Maruyama is very helpful and very accommodating, thank you very much.

Authentic Japanese style hotel, family of four who enjoyed the breakfast, onsen, location, hosts - absolutely everything. It was nice to have sitting areas outside the room to sit and enjoy the amazing views. 3 min walk to Happo Bus Terminal which was perfect for our skiing trip.

We had a wonderful stay in 2 traditional rooms with ample room. It is a very convenient location. Carpark was cleared daily. Breakfast was very good too. We’d stay again!

The location is quiet and only a short walk to the gondola. We had 2 rooms and had a perfect view of the fireworks from one of the rooms. The rooms themselves were very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast each day was included and was exceptional. Enough to keep us going for most of the day.

It was clean and central and it was nice to have a personal onsen. The host was the best

Very friendly and kind staff. The man at the front desk was exceptional and they even left us a change of clothes and towels when they couldn’t service our room.

Japanese style rooms aren’t as comfortable as we thought they’d be. The room was spacious and great but the pads were a little thin.

The room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The onsen has both an inside and outside pool - super relaxing.
