It is a very old historical building - it was not built to be clinically clean. Having said that, I had no concerns.

Second time I’ve been, room great , location great, everyone there are great, wonderful

Room was fab, I struggle with sleeping on mattresses and with decent pillows and I can tell you I slept like a baby. Attached to a great public house the staff are brilliant

"For the price it afforded me with the comfort and facilities I was looking for."

Although the hotel was, somewhat, dated with furnishings past their best I still enjoyed a comfortable stay. The bedroom was well heated, too.

One of the cupboard doors was hanging from its hinges and it was difficult to open the locks to both my bedroom door and to the outdoor security gate. These really should receive attention.

"It served a purpose."

The room was very clean

We felt the hotel was extremely dated, there was also only a bath and no shower. We didn’t stay for the breakfast as they didn’t start it to 9am, to late for us as we wanted to be on the road, being New Year’s Day.
