EL Homestay Bunaken

It has AC and amazing food!

Shower doesn't have any pressure so I used the bumgun as a shower... bit unconventional but it did the job!

Stefen was an excellent host; friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a great time at his homestay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bunaken island.

I had a great stay on Bunaken Island. The host was very kind, helpful, and pleasant, and always happy to assist with anything I needed. The accommodation is basic but clean and has everything you need. The location is ideal, the food is delicious, and it’s perfect after a day of diving. Great value for money — I would definitely stay here again.

Mr. Stephen was perfect. Always attentive and available for any eventuality, he was a great tour organizer with no stress. He and his entire family were friendly but always discreet. The food was excellent and plentiful. Coffee and tea were always available!

Unfortunately, we couldn't close our bathroom door. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's best to fix it as soon as possible. That's my advice.

We had a wonderful time staying with Stefan and his family in Bunaken, who welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness. They were always happy to help with any questions or requests, and their hospitality was truly exceptional. Stefan also offers great day trips (like the dolphin tour), which we can highly recommend. The portions for breakfast (choice of sweet or savory), lunch, and dinner (vegetarian, meat or fish) were always generous, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. The homestay is very centrally located, and communication in English as well as before arrival was smooth and easy.

Air conditioning is available for an extra 100,000 IDR per day. This isn’t a negative point, just good to know before booking.

Nos encantó absolutamente todo aunque el tiempo no, nos acompañara. Stefen es un anfitrión maravilloso, que nos atendió increíblemente bien, nos acogió un día antes, facilitandonos todo los transportes y comodidades. La comida exquisita. Habitación cómoda y grande. Realizamos con él snorkel y todo perfecto.

Todo me encantó.
