Richcoast Darocotan El Nido

We loved our stay here! The most beautiful island with the loveliest staff who really make your stay. The food at bice camp was amazing. We can particularly recommend the garlic shrimp and spring rolls. Everywhere was clean and the camp was well maintained. A special mention to Andy who was so accommodating and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone :)

- Amazing location!! Best beach spot on the island with turquoise water, white sand, and beautiful shipwreck with lots of corals and cute fish! The water was very clamn, warm, and clear. They’re located in a bay, so no big waves. My kind of beach :) - Super cute small bamboo house we stayed. Very comfortable bed, clean, and loved how it’s designed and romantic. We had the house with private bathroom and outdoor shower. - The beach was right in front our house & the whole property!!! This was a vibe!! Also feels private! - No mosquitos and crazy insects at our house and overall camp location, which was really comfortable for me! They had staff who cleaned the camp area everyday. We were there last week of January. - Super amazing food!!! AllMy favorites were the fish fillet meals! Their meals where the best ones we had in the entire Philippine trip. SO GOOD!!!! - Amazing staff!!! Loved the staff- they were so friendly, welcoming, always smiling, and willing to help us and other customers and made us feel home. If you want a place so quiet and peaceful, on the beach, that's it, don't look around. Not only land side, also under water is amazing just for snorkeling. You will wake up with amazing bird singing, you will see a blue sea just in front of your room. Order your breakfast and than awake in the sea, read your book, drink whatever you prefer and sunset drink. At night time if it is not cloudy you will amaze to see that much stars. Bed is comfortable and large enough for two. We choose the room with WC in, was so nice idea. If you want just next to camp there is a couple who make coctails, so nice place. His name is Mike, he is also making some jewellery from the sea with you, if you want.

There is one things they have to find a solution very quickly. Not the first night but second night, we don't know what bite us several times, so itchy, not mosquito but something else in the bed under the net. Second thing is if you are a coffee lover, sorry for you because only granul coffee they have. Bring it with you, which we did, or on the other side of the island 10 minutes to walk, they have real coffee.

Location. Our camp had the best beach, just few metres from boatwrack. I love snorkeling and walking around the island 🩵

La ubicación, aunque la isla es muy pequeña

The rating is because I think they should manage transfers and payments better. I went with two friends to Darocotan (I stayed two nights and they returned the same day) the thing is that since they don't write down the payments they don't give receipts from the boat, then you don't know if something has been paid or not. My friends paid for their round trip by boat and a one-way trip of mine (1000 pesos in total). The thing is that when I checked out they told me that it hadn't been paid and I had to pay for it. I said they would check it well, and the truth is that they weren't at all clear about it. In the end I had to pay again for my one-way trip by boat (200 pesos) when my friends had already paid for it.

It was an absolute dream. Everything about this place is magical. It’s cheap, people are friendly, staff is amazing, the accommodation is also extremely good for the price you pay and anybody on the island even the most expensive other accommodation come to the beach front of Bice because it’s just the best beach. Highly recommend and so gutted I had not booked a longer stay.
