Sayang Sanur Duplex

From check-in to check-out everything was great! We stayed in Duplex 4 which is half way along, facing the huge pool. The duplex had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, newish, the beds were comfortable with blockout curtains. The kitchen was fully equipped (but we didn't use it). We even had a washing machine which was a bonus (even with detergent!) The pool was beautiful and was wonderful to swim in and do laps. There is enought seating at either end, covered and uncovered. Breakfast at the restaurant was great! The best souffle pancakes ever. The soft poached eggs cooked to perfection. The staff are very nice and do a very good job making everything work properly. They are polite and friendly. We will definitely return and bring the rest of the family.

We could hear doors slamming in the units next door overnight. Maybe put some rubber around the heavy timber doors to stop the noise. Also there are no soap or shampoo holder in the showers and no towel rails in the bathrooms. The towels need replacing as they are getting old and are a bit thin. We brought this up whilst chatting to the new operations manager who said they were looking at upgrading a few things in the next few months. The second upstairs bathroom did not have a screen between the toilet and the shower so the toilet would get wet. We tried the Japanese restaurant for lunch and found that the meat portion was too small for the curry. NB. The stairs to the second level are quite steep and might make it difficult for people with mobility issues.

Location was great. Rooms were spacious and very clean.

Was hard to get breakfast in the morning. No one around to order, menu was very average. But plenty around the area if needed. The pool was too warm to swim in. Was not refreshing for cooling off after being out all day.
