We loved our stay at the millers cottage. The hosts had thought of every detail. The property itself was immaculate, so many thoughtful touches. It’s clearly a well looked after and loved property. We stayed here when visiting some friends locally and will definitely be back!

Approach lane was horrendous full of some very large potholes which could easily damage your car.

The Miller’s Cottage was an absolute gem of a find! Scott was a superb host and the cottage was perfect, the interior was to an extremely high standard. The cottage was in a great location, very peaceful and with walks from your doorstep along the river. You can walk along the river to Haddington a couple of miles away, if you get the chance visit the pub The Waterside Bistro. The coast was a 15 minute drive with superb beaches and top class golf courses. Edinburgh was easily accessible by train from nearby East Linton with free car parking. All in all the cottage was perfect for whatever you chose to do. The Miller’s Cottage - highly recommended 👌

This is an exceptional cottage, the very high quality of every aspect and detail was brilliant. The garden was like a Chelsea show garden full of birds and the location, next to the old mill and river was also brilliant for dog walking and nature lovers. The hosts Scott and Bridget were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Overall this was a brilliant stay.

The only small issue was the driveway had some big potholes.

The whole property was immaculate; clean, tidy, modern and in a beautiful area. Scott and Bridget had thought of everything to make our stay perfect; from the coffee machine with coffee beans provided, tea bags, the cake and biscuits to dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc. Scott met us on arrival and couldn’t do enough for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Millers Cottage to anyone who is looking for a stress free, relaxing time in this beautiful part of Scotland.

An excellent stay with the nicest hosts. Property is very well looked after with everything you might need. A properly lovely place to stay if you're in the area. Excellent communication with the hosts throughout. Fantastic shower.
