It was clean

They asked me to pay in cash and told me they didn’t have change even though they charged an odd amount that wasn’t rounded.

Located in the city center but sitting on top of hill which is quiet. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean, Kandy city centre is about 10 mins walking downhill.

Super clean room with amazing view on the Kandy mountains. Great location, close to downtown and transport hubs.

Lovely little home stay just outside of central Kandy, we walked into town which took about half an hour but it was great to be outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Great views and lovely hosts

Room was big, bed was vert comfortable, nice and clean bathroom. Friendly owners.

Wife was not working and location was not the best, it was up the hill, but still not too far from everything, though after 6 pm you need to take a tuk tuk.

Jaye and his wife are excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful with organising excursions and drivers. Breakfast was really delicious, served on a nice terrace overlooking the Kandy valley. The homestay is beautifully located, the room spacious and comfy, the bathroom very nice and modern, from the terrace with lovely views. Everything is very well kept! And all that in walking distance (10 minutes) to the lake and the city. We had a perfect stay and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much! Inge&Frank

The room has a great view, is clean, and very nice. The staff are friendly. It takes about 13 minutes on foot to the station and the city center.

The staff turned off the lights and fan in my room without asking. I’m not sure if it was for eco-friendly reasons or to save electricity, but I would have liked to use them freely while I was in the room. When I wasn’t in the room, I always turned off the lights and air conditioning myself. This isn’t just about this hostel, but there were a lot of dogs around, which was a bit scary for me. The area has steep slopes, and inside the hostel, you need to use stairs. So, I wouldn’t recommend it for people with large luggage or those who aren’t confident in their physical strength.
