Charnock Farm

Everything about this property was exceptional. It is set in a lovely area, with convenient access to nearby shops and dining options. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made a real difference. The room was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, warm, and very comfortable. It was also wonderfully quiet, allowing for a great night’s sleep, and we woke up to a beautiful lake view in the morning. The food at the Mill Pub was delicious, and the staff there were just as friendly and accommodating. It was also a bonus that the pub is pet-friendly. The Lake View Café was equally impressive—we enjoyed a lovely breakfast while watching the baby ducks, followed by a visit to their donkey and pony, which was a charming touch. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about our experience. I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay again.

Easy access. Good onsite parking. Pleasant location. Choice of accommodation and walk in shower or shower over bath Comfortable beds. Food options onsite after 9am.

Nothing. Would have been useful to have food option for breakfast open earlier (eg 7:30am).
