Sigiri Lanka Resort

The host was great, he went out of his way to ensure we had a nice stay. Arranged a friend to take us to Polonnaruwa. Breakfast was fine, fruits, bread, eggs etc. Location was good, 6 min tuk tuk to Sigiriya, you could walk if not raining.

The wifi didn’t work across the site, may have just been our stay though as other reviews seem fine.

The manager was superb. He brought me to the Sigiri fortress and picked me up. He cooked us a great dinner and got me a Tuk Tuk to the bus station. Very accommodative.

Nothing comes to mind. I would stay there again.

The staff is the highlight of the place! They make you feel so safe and welcomed moment one. They are willing to help with anything you need and go above and beyond to cater your needs and wishes. The meals I had were very good and abundant. The helped me get around town and shared so much info and facts of the place around. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and super clean. I would stay here again.

The only thing that could be better are the towels and having a blanket in the room.

We had a very nice stay of two nights at Sigri Lanka Resort. The location is very good and green. Ruwan prepared a delicious dinner for us on the first evening and the breakfast was also very good. He made vegan food possible especially for us. Ruwan also helped us to organise a tuk tuk driver for our hike and a driver for our onward journey. He also told us a lot about the country and was able to give us some tips for the rest of our trip. The rooms are very large. Overall, we felt very welcome and would come back again.

Everything was above my expectations. Clean, with all the components needed to have a good stay.. Place for 5 basically.. hot water...a gorgeous balcony. Parking lot and a breakfast that will fill you up.. Everything with care.. staff extremely warm and gentle.. price is perfect. Location really convenient

The manager, Ruwan, was exceptional, offering countless helpful tips that enriched our experience. He went above and beyond to arrange an incredible safari for us at an unbeatable price and even organized a driver who guided us across the island for several days, making our travels smooth and enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with delicious options and fresh flavors to start the day. The chef does an amazing job, and his family is absolutely delightful – they truly made us feel at home. I wholeheartedly recommend Sigiri Lanka Resort to anyone visiting this area. I’ll be recommending it to all my friends, confident that they’ll receive the same remarkable experience!

Nice place, nice and helpful people. And clean place what is not common in this country. Willing to accommodate you at late time, Close to Sigiriya and. Pidurangala if you want to go there early morning.

The hotel is at a very nice location, very quiet, with a few markets and restaurants in walkable distance and the best thing is that you can see monkeys, cows and peacocks roaming around! The hotel owner is very nice and helpful on everything we needed.
