"Lack of meal options a problem"

Room was large and view was good. This is clearly a grande dame which has fallen on hard times in recent years

The location did not have satisfactory eating options either on site or in surrounding streets. Need a car or taxi to go somewhere for a meal. Bathroom was dirty

Poor shower - no pressure. Couldn’t open window and some of the electric sockets didn’t work

"A pleasant hotel in a good location"

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good enough. Plenty of plug sockets in room. Included ironing facilities, fan, extra radiator. Private car park

Room was VERY much in need of updating. Was the smallest 'double' room we've ever stayed in. Cracks in sink plus shower floor. Also skirting boards were dusty. No food available lunch or evening

Great sea view from our room on the top and spacious area for breakfast

A bit run down. Problems with the water, scalding initially had to let it run for a minute before temperature adjusted. Water stopped working for a while until it came back on.

Great location! Charming feel

It’s falling apart It was smelling in our room Lift was cleaned for awhile Bathroom was ok but hair around , just needs proper cleaning Very stuffy , no fresh air, could open the window , inside the hotel smelled of very old hotel , not pleasant.

"Borderline average"

Amazing sea view. Free car park if you are early.

No hot water in shower. I had shower in freezing cold water. Got a cold shortly afterwards. When mentioned to reception they said maintenance looking into it and never heard back. Basic breakfast not many options. Room door lock was loose such that it can be easily be broken into. Mirror in the room is cracked.
