The Clarendon Hotel

Free parking on site, good location across the road from beach. Good size rooms & good facilities. Nice breakfast room/restaurant overlooking the sea with complimentary cereals, fruit juices, toast & pastries, didn't bother with full English you have to pay £5.50 extra & order the day before but its worth it if you like a big breakfast as there was loads to choose from. Nice bar area & a couple of table & chairs outside to sit on the front. Lovely friendly atmosphere, they didn't have a problem with the kids being a bit noisy & it says they welcome dogs. Would definitely go back as it was very reasonably priced too

Rooms appear to be run down and could do with being updated. Writing still on the windows from installation in the room I stayed in which isn’t something you’d expect from a professional establishment.

The location directly on the seafront. Free car parking. Hotel still retains some of its lovely Victorian features, (the bedrooms are modern, clean and comfortable). Lovely staff.

Buffet breakfast layout felt a bit poorly laid out. Quality of provisions felt cheap. Cooked breakfast was nice though.
