Kaladwas Lal Haveli - A Heritage Boutique Hotel

The hotel and room were stunning throughout. Beautifully preserved historical detailing alongside tastefully integrated modern conveniences. Carved wood doorways, window seats with stained glass, scalloped archways, intricate brass hardware in the bathrooms, winding stairs and peaceful inner courtyard. Attentive staff. Spotless. Quiet location in the middle of the old city with beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant, which had incredible food and live musicians. There's an atmospheric cafe downstairs too. Best hotel we stayed at in India, hands down. Miss it already!

Bear in mind Ubers/cars can't get in the old city streets so brace for a walk with your luggage or get a tuktuk for the last few blocks.

Beautiful, newly refurbished palace - staying there felt very luxurious. The dinner on the rooftop restaurant was very special and delicious, with great views of the city and the temple too. We were taken great care of by the manager and chef (Narendra and Vijendra) and loved the stay!

A beautiful house, all lovely done. All of the house is made with old materials in a really good quality. The owner aswell the staff is super nice and attentive.

I absolutely loved this property. It's a 300-year-old haveli, beautifully transformed into a hotel, and stepping inside feels like traveling back in time. History comes alive here, with vintage photographs, old ledgers, and preserved artifacts that capture its storied past. The room details are also stunning. The staff is amazing too. It’s nothing major. This property is in old town, cars aren’t allowed/can’t really go through narrow lanes - so just be sure to catch an auto (tuk-tuk) from Hathi Pol to the place.

An amazing well restored Haveli. This piece of history (300 years) has been carefully restored with all the comfort needed. The staff is lovely and very attentive. It is a perfect place to live an amazing experience and feel like a prince and princess. Food is also very good, both breakfast and lunch.

The property was very old and has all the character that that implies. It felt historic. It was beautifully restored and a feast for the eyes. Everything we saw was beautiful. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the manager/owner took care of all of our needs, even making extra accommodations for us when my husband got sick. We also liked how central it was to everything that you’d want to see and do in Udaipur.

Because it was right in the center of town, there is quite a bit of noise outside that bled in just a little, and for the same reason, the view from the window was just of the sides of buildings and a small street. But we figured this would be the case since we were choosing to stay in the center of town, rather than on the water.

It's a beautifully designed boutique heritage hotel. Each and every corner of the hotel resembles the heritage thing. The people working there were very knowledgeable and helpful they made us comfortable and helped us to understand the property. It's a combination of heritage and luxury. Apart from lakes this is the best thing you'll find in Udaipur. A stay to remember thanks to team Kaladwas.

Exceptional Hospitality The hospitality at Kaladwas Lal Haveli was exceptional. Mr. Parakram and Mr. Divyabhanu went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The themed suites were a delightful touch of creativity and heritage, and the central location made exploring Udaipur easy. We would love to come back again!

The haveli’s proximity to tourist spots like Bagore Ki Haveli made our trip enjoyable and convenient. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Udaipur. There's literally nothing that I did not like! Everything was impeccable from food, service to convenience.
