A beautiful spacious house, loved the concrete finishes, we loved sitting in the verandah watching the monkeys.

The only negative is the hill back up from the beach, it could be a little bit challenging for less mobile people.

Really nice place, there is a big villa downstairs that can accommodate 6 people. But we were in a big room upstairs with A/C and kitchen. The beach is beautiful from the upstairs, like we were on the sea. Kumudu and Gihan who work there were really helpful. We will be back.

It was a big house with enough space for everyone. Owner was very helpful with any problem that occurred and even helped with the monkeys. The beds were covered with Moskito nets.

We didn’t have enough blankets nor towels. We had to call him to even get enough blankets. The property could have been cleaner, there was still food in the fridge from the previous guests and also a used bandage in the shower. Some of the windows weren’t fully closed, it was okay for us, but might not be for other guests.

House is big, ideal for family. Price is good for area.

Some cushions on swing chairs would be nice No air con, but I knew this when booking.

Location was handy to beach but quiet. House had everything you needed - no air conditioning but fans in each room. Kumudu, the owner , and her family are exceptionally friendly hosts and would do anything for you. We really enjoyed chatting with them. Gihan provides a taxi service if required. We highly recommend taking a look at Blue Bay Island- about 2.5km away. It was stunning and very clean. Great for a day trip and swimming. We ordered a breakfast one morning and we requested egg hoppers and fresh fruit. It was lovely. Hiriketiya Beach was our favourite spot in SL for taking it easy.

Beautiful house, amazing location if you want to stay in Hiriketia, loads of space and about a quarter of the cost of anything else in this village. Gorgeous outside areas, just beware of the monkeys!

Very little: we would have paid more for a/c as we arrived on a very hot day, but the owner tells me he is planning on putting this in next season.
