Un po' difficile l'ingresso con valigie molto pesanti perché bisogna percorrere un sentiero sterrato di circa 60 metri.
ATFor people who love camping it is a very comfortable bothy, perfect for two persons with a need for space in the bed or for a whole family if no one has any sleep disorders, and if you don't mind a little smell that the fireplace left across the room over time. Water supply is a bit complicated and there's no electricity, but in summer you don't need artificial light anyway, days are long and parts of the roof are translucent, and for reading at night there is a little solar lamp. There's a fireplace but you might need to ask for a broad enough range of log sizes to start a real good fire. There are foldable seats which can be taken outside to the hidden side of the bothy from where you have a magnificent view to the coast and across the moors - as long there's a little wind, otherwise the midges might bother you. Walking is allowed everywhere as long you close gates again, so you can go for walks along the very beautiful coastline if you don't mind crossing a few boggy areas and climbing across some easy fences.

USThe hosts are very transparent about the property. It is remote, without running water or electricity. The location is beyond gorgeous, tranquil. The hosts are exceedingly nice, helpful and accommodating. Would stay again.
It smells a bit damp. The evening fire takes care of any smell. I slept deeply. The compost toilet is rustic, and the flush toilet is not available after 9pm. Be prepared.
USOur hosts were super helpful and kind - they could not have been nicer. The setting is stunning, the Bothy is a truly unique Scottish experience and one we will treasure.
GBWe really appreciated the traditional croft setting, the peat fire, the explanation of the history of the building. We loved the Harris Tweed weaving demo and the opportunity to have a go. The people were so friendly.
