GBGreat location and a great experience of back to basics in a real blackhouse. Loved the peat burning stove. Jackie and John were very welcoming . We really enjoyed our stay despite issues above.
Difficult to find at first - beeds better signsge. Perhaps too basic! No fridge or cool blocks. No table to use. A coffee table would have been helpful Shared facilities at house a bit too shared with family and dogs. Needed a bit more thought and a spruce up at the accommodation. Could have been amazing.

GBThe accommodation it's a cosy little place with basic but really well organised facilities. Host are really friendly and location is beautiful. Awesome views and close to the ruins. We regreted having stayed only 1 night, we travelled with kids and we definitely come back to stay at least 2 o 3 days. Beautiful nature in a lovely accommodation
I would have preferred a shower in the toilet instead of the shower inside the host house.
USJust as advertised, 200 year old "Black House" with some restoration but not a modern motel at all. Hosts were awesome, helpful in every way! Peat fed fieplace. Great view, too. We loved it.
