Champalao The Villa

It is a fantastic location for doing some adventures and calming down, relaxing in the village. Beautiful garden for sitting and talking to other travellers . No party inside. Lovely and very cute cats which are in the garden.

We booked here after deciding to leave another hotel, and are we ever glad we did! Everything at this place was a real treat - as many others have said, really cool vibe that resembles a tree house, the staff are so lovely and helpful, and the breakfast is filing and offers fresh fruit! There are a few young kitties around who are curious and may want to play with you if you let them! We aren't big partiers so were thrilled to learn that it is very quiet and relaxing in the evenings!

The water in the shower isn't that hot, but after a hot day in the sun, I wasn't about to complain!

The location itself is good, not far from the riverside and many restaurants. The place is pretty charming. Breakfast is good.

Dangerous and super high stairs to reach the 1st level. The walls are like paperthin, so you can hear everything around including the army of roosters and crazy dogs living in the neighborhood who’s making noise all night long ! I did not sleep well at all during my stay. Rooms was small and dark. The ground is clean but the ceiling and walls are dusty and there is spider web in the corners and one little spider seems to live here since a while as you see her and all her little prey in their web on the ceiling. There is a gap between the roof and the walls in the bathroom, so it’s super hot inside at the end of the day.
