The Sanduk Homestay

Ibra en Isabel doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken; denken mee over tours, je kunt een scooter huren, eventueel halen en brengen naar het busstation of naar het centrum. Ze hebben een nieuwe homestay erbij gebouwd (Sanduk 2) waar wij verbleven en dat was erg mooi en schoon! Tip; doe zeker de tour met Ritha, aanrader!

De kamer was schitterend en comfortabel. Ibra en zijn zus waren super lief en behulpzaam.

The owners are incredibly helpful and kind. They had no issue picking us up early in the morning as we arrived with a night bus and also gave us a room as it was available. Ibra and his sister Isabel are the best. The breakfast is very good and the room is better than what we anticipated. Ibra will answer all your questions about Toraja and is able to arrange any kind of tour. While he speaks to every guest he always takes time to catch up with you every day, making sure your day is maximised by helping you plan it. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Ett väldigt fint boende och oerhört hjälpsam personal. Skön säng och lugn miljö.

Boendet ligger ca 3 km utanför Rantepao och fungerar bäst om du har chaufför eller egen bil. Vi blev erbjudna hjälp med transport in till stan av värden.

Tout d'abord la gentillesse du personnel, le calme et 'à serviabilité

We especially liked the owners Ibra and his sister. They were very kind and helpful. We rented a scooter, had a one day tour with a great guide and Ibra even helped us with our trip to Tentena.

Ibra and his family are the best, they made our time in Toraja so memorable! We were picked up at 5.30am from the bus (from Maros), given a room straight away and breakfast. We were put in a room with our own private bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was a choice of western or Asian style. Each day Ibra spent time with us to ensure we had a list of things to do and places to visit, and also kindly organised us a guide to attend a funeral (we went with a man named Amos who was fantastic also!). I could not recommend Sanduk more, it was comfortable and clean, and Ibra and his family were so attentive and accomodating, even sending us off with packed fruit for our long journey to Tentena.

Nothing to do with Sanduk Homestay - but just a heads up for travellers that on Sundays there are no rituals or funerals in the area. Keep this in mind with planning :)

Wir haben in dem ganz neuen Sanduk 2 übernachtet! Ibra und seine Schwester sind einfach großartig und achten sehr darauf dass es ihren Gästen gutgeht. Ibra macht tolle Tourenvorschläge und vermittelt gute Guides.
