Friendly owner, convenient location.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, especially after Booking. Com cancelled my booking 24 hours before I set off. I am not sure why and won't be using Booking.com again. Great location, lovely atmosphere at breakfast. Very pleasant stay indeed, and I intend to return next Feb but will be booking independentantly

Breakfast 🍳 was great and it was quiet when we stayed. Owner was very friendly 😃 Close to amenities and not far from city centre. Good place to stay cheap and cheerful 😁

The fruit juice at breakfast tasted as though it had been watered down. Dark on the stairs if you come in late and you are staying on the upper floors

Near the station, university and town centre. Friendly, helpful host and very good accomodation.

Apart from the location, there was nothing we liked about it

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The shower was moldy. The bathroom door was filthy and grimy hand prints on the wall.

Room decor slightly worn Shower light constantly flashing Shower had a very loud high pitched squeal when in use

Excellent location, very near the train station and walking distance from the centre. Very close to the University and city art gallery

Wifi could have been improved but I think this was a temporary glitch
