it was close to both bowness and windermere itself, around 10 and 20 minute walks respectively. the staff were polite and very helpful, the rooms were exceptionally clean and beds very comfy. bonus points for having a fan in the room during the heatwave!! overall super pleased with this hotel, and for the price we booked it for; such good value for money!

the only small issue we found during our stay was that there was a small leak in the pipe of our shower which resulted in the water pressure being subpar, but still useable and you are more than able to get by!

Location was excellent. Parking is always an issue being so close to the town centre. Very clean, tidy and hospitable. Bed was really comfy. No noise. Key drop box and 11am checkout was perfect for a single night stay.

Decor and facilities are looking tired but work fine. Only one tea bag. Tv didn't work.

"Night away in the Lakes"

Right in the heart of Bowness, warm welcome and a nice view of the lake from our room. Little car park just down from the hotel. Bed was very comfy, there was tea and coffee provided and fresh towels. You get a front door key to come and go as you please. We walked up to Brantfell which had beautiful views.

Nothing, we hope to be back soon!
