We chose not to stay in Ryokan during our trip but this hotel gave us a taste of a traditional Japanese hotel without compromising on comfort. The western style rooms had everything we wanted but felt authentic. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Good location, beautiful view from on the river from our balcony. The breakfast was marvelous!! The welcoming was so great! The shuttle bus to the station is a great service!

There is an automatic light in the hallway with a sensor. So in the night when one of us had to go to the toilet the very bright light woke up my partner or me. The shower in the bath is dangerous. It’s slippery and to step out of the bath is a challenge, because it’s slippery. There should be a firm grip.

The breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed both the Japanese and Western breakfasts. The location near the red bridge is fantastic and we really enjoyed the view.

The western room that we book on the 6th floor was newly renovated very comfortable and clean. Excellent Dinner and Breakfast. Great experience. Highly recommended.

The Japanese tatami room that we have to move into on the 2nd night was old and not that clean. The toilet has bit of smell.
