Honjin Hiranoya Kofukan

We really enjoyed the Ryokan experience at Honjin Hiranoya. The staff really went out of their way to provide excellent service. They picked us up from the bus station (and gave us a ride to the train station), gave us a complete orientation to the room, the provided clothing, the breakfast options- very attentive. The hotel has a nice view of the river and is right in the heart of Takayama. We enjoyed walking everywhere from the hotel. The breakfasts ( both traditional Japanese and Western) were delicious. I enjoyed the rooftop women's Onsen as well.

No Complaints- it was wonderful!

Tutto….questo Ryokan è semplicemente meraviglioso,dal servizio navetta alla colazione…Noi abbiamo cenato e devo dire che era veramente tutto eccellente..Abbiamo dormito nella camera tipica giapponese…che Dire? Complimenti a tutto lo staff e loro super cortese attenzione nei minimi particolari..Consigliatissimo!

La localización, experiencia de la habitación estilo japonés y vistas al rio

A pesar de ser una bonita experiencia lo de dormir al estilo japonés, el colchon en el suelo era muy fino. Quizás es que es así pero fue algo incomodo. El desayuno, no se puede cobrar 20€ por persona por él. Mi valoración esta fuertemente influenciada por esto. Demasiado espectáculo en su preparación y luego al final me quedaba con más hambre que la que entré. No lo recomiendo nada.

Ha estado una experiencia única alojarnos en este Ryokan. Desde el primer momento nos facilitaron un servicio gratuito de taxi para llegar desde la estación, el checkin también muy especial dándonos todas las explicaciones y recomendaciones mientras nos sirvieron te y dulces. Las habitaciones tradicionales son sencillas pero es justamente la gracia de alojarse allí (hay habitaciones modernas también). Todo el personal y servicio fue muy atento y amable en todo momento. Una gran experiencia poder cenar y desayunar allí vestidos con la ropa tradicional. La ubicación es perfecta, justo al lado del casco histórico y a pocos minutos de la estación. Sin duda un gran acierto.

I loved everything, starting from the location, to the room specious, the comfort and of course the friendly and lovely staff. I never experienced a warm welcome in any hotels before, in Honjin Annex they welcomed the guests with Wadaiko. Interesting

I guess there was little miscommunication with explaining the breakfast types, since i don’t know the difference between the 3 types mentioned. But unfortunately the staff in the beginning didn’t explain unless if i asked.

Posizione pazzesca direttamente sul ponte Nakabashi e nel centro storico. Personale preparato e disponibile. Onsen bello e pulito accessibile anche a chi ha i tatuaggi. Cena tipica da provare.
