The staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful. No daily maid service and the outside noise sounds like it is inside, but I'm sure that is due to the nature of the old building.

During my multi-night stay, I would have appreciated a refresh of the towels, and the floors appeared to need a thorough vacuuming.

I wish they would vacuum under the beds, furniture etc. It wasn’t an end all be all for me. But my daughter lost a piece of her toy and was shocked to see the unvaccumed parts of the room. Small detail and wouldn’t keep me from staying again.
USUSThe hotel has a quirky inspiring spirit about it that just makes you smile. The location is ideal to enjoy Silver City's notable art and shopping scene. The town seems to have a balance of affordability and ambition that supports a fun, creative environment. The Palace embodies that. While by no means a luxury hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is warm and friendly. Breakfast is simple but adequate.
There is probably an opportunity for updating the rooms without losing the historic charm.
