Historic is one thing…. No updates are another. This property has not been updated in many many if not ever decades. The carpet looked original. Stained, worn. Gross. One bed was newer. The sheets however were probably from many years ago. A 14 inch deep bed should have more than 4 inch deep pocket sheets. No screen on the bedroom window, could not open it. I could not bring myself to take a shower, I didn’t dare step into the tub. Not a pleasant bathroom experience at all!!!! So sad, because I had been so looking forward to a bubble bath. My husband worried All night about his motorcycle parked out front.

USFriendly staff, fantastic location, very cool historic building, and highly affordable for a solo traveler. The breakfast is not exciting, but the coffee was pretty good!
It was not clear from the listing that the bathroom would NOT be connected to the room. I had to exit my room and go to a separate tiny room down the hall for the toilet, and yet another separate room down the hall for the shower. The sink was in my room. So, three separate locations. These bathroom facilities were exclusively for my use and marked as such (I did not have to share), but it felt a bit awkward going back and forth down the hall, not to mention pretty inconvenient in the middle of the night. This setup was specific to the "budget double room" only -- so, just be prepared. This is why the price is so low. Also, the carpets throughout the hotel could use a good vacuuming!
USA pleasant stay in a historic hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was ok, but it could have used thicker pillows. The bathroom was nice and clean.
Parking could be better. We were able to park in front of the hotel, but the curb is extremely tall, so care is needed to not hit it when opening the vehicle door. A ramp is available, but it may be a bit of a walk depending on the parking space you use.
