Bamville Shared House

Relatively well located. Direct bus line to the city center. About 20-30 minutes. A shared house that used to be good but lacks maintenance. Two bathrooms, but only one has a shower. The water is hot for 1 minute and cold the next. It's pulsating. Also, there's no insulation in the bathroom, so you can feel the cold from the street. The kitchen is simple, but no one cooks there because it's uncomfortable, and cleanliness is questionable. The living room and common area only have a sofa. Nothing else. The rooms don’t have wardrobes or hangers. You have to buy them. You can hear everything inside the rooms. When walking, the wooden floor creaks a lot. If someone walks above my room, I hear everything. If they go left, I hear it. If they wake up at 6 am and step on the floor, I hear it. The creaking of the wood is incredible. There is supposedly a cleaning service. Not once did they come to my room to change the sheets or bedding, even when asked. From my first day to my last, there was a pot with rice left unwashed in the kitchen. Not once did the cleaning ladies touch it. For 6 weeks. They only change the toilet paper and take out the trash. The room has a mini-fridge, microwave, and television, but nothing else besides the bed. In summary, it’s an accommodation that used to be good, but lacks maintenance. It’s clear now that it’s just used to host guests and make money, with no further concerns.

It was very quiet and I enjoyed that peace and silence. You get a microwave, kettle and small fridge in your room which is quite relaxing not having to go downstairs.

I didn’t like the fact that the street had trash around it and there’s always no parking.

Nice tiny room ( room number 5 ) with all facilities that is needed and foodshops & supermarkets in the surrounding. I was here for 10 days and could reach the reception ( the host ) easy by whatsapp. They give me clear instructions how to check in & out !

A stronger Wifi signal in room 5 will make everybody happy!

Other guests would leave the main door open, even at night; the poor network in my room, room 5, literally no network, I had to stand very close to the door to even get one signal; there were spiders in the main bathroom; the toilet was really close to my room (5)and I could really hear what other guest would do in it; it was really loud that some nights I couldn’t sleep
