Samadhi Nature Resort

The host lady is very warm welcoming, you feel like home instantly. The view from the rooms and terrasse is just in front trees where you can see many different birds. Walking distance from the main street, and hiking spots. Really good localisation.

We were welcomed by a delicious tea, and the rooms were facing mountain ranges, and it's amazing. We had some cold beer, enjoying the sunset and nature around. The rooms are spotless and clean, and it’s a simple design. There is massive cinnamon there, which is more than 400 years old, next to the rooms. Pepper creeps, cardamom, and ginger also grow by themselves to be used as their organic spices. The garden was also eye-catching.

My stay at Samadhi Nature Resort was nothing short of magical. The room was spacious, clean, and had stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The eco-friendly approach of the resort is something I truly appreciated, The food is mouthwatering .

The host is lovely and made us feel very welcome. Plus her fresh cinnamon and ginger tea is incredible! And we really enjoyed the breakfast and her garden is beautiful. The location is very good for Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arches Bridge - both just 5 minutes walk away. Then the walk into the main centre is only about 20/25 minutes so very close to all the bars, shops and restaurants!

The room smells quite damp and the pillows had damp mould on them. Plus the blankets provided were not very clean and smelled bad. Bathroom was okay with good water pressure but the bed and pillows were not very comfortable. It’s also right next to a main road and the road noise was quite disturbing through the night.

Easy to access with vehicle and also close to the Ella town and nine arch bridge. The breakfast is a Sri Lankan delight. Waking up to the Mountain View is splendid.

The views are amazing, the location is perfect for hikes like little adams peak and nine arch bridge. However the host Samantha is the best thing about this place. She goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. You won't find a nicer host

Located in the middle of the forest but 10 minute walk to Ella and all the Cafes etc. Super cute host and very good breakfast! Highlight: the self made tea mad from cinnamon and ginger from the garden!

Samantha the host was very sweet and really tried to be helpful Breakfast was simple but home cooked, fresh and tasty

We took 2 rooms and our bathroom (not my kids) was filthy. There was grime all around the tiles, there was ants everywhere in the bathroom, the floor mat was stained and old The coffee was made with cardamom which was very strange Very steep and many many steps The wifi was really bad I’m unsure how this property gets such a high rating in booking.com and it’s definitely not 3 star. More like a 1 star. I feel bad saying this as Samantha was lovely but I feel duped by the booking.com reviews and would never had booked it if I had known what it was really like

Samadhi was a lovely host. She helped with organisation of places to visit/taxis/tuktuks/restaurant recommendations etc. Delicious breakfast here with lovely wildlife to watch in her garden, with exotic birds, squirrells, and chipmunks. It was cloudy when we were there so unfortunately didn't get much view. Its a little bit of a walk out of town, but we love walking so suited us just fine
